Where do you live? Where is your home?

For about four months I've been thinking about this worldmap - many questions have arisen in my head since I saw the drawing of my friend Hannah from India. I saw the worldmap, and I wondered how I felt about the world. And why I think like that about the world, and not different. ... I developed these questions and shared them with international volunteers. And today I share these questions with you and ask you if you agree with me that this drawing by my friend Hannah offers a new perspective on the world? I appreciate your answers in the comments.

Wo wohnst du? Wo ist deine Heimat?

Seit ungefähr vier Monaten mache ich mir Gedanken - diese Fragen, die in meinem Kopf entstanden sind, habe ich, seit ich die Zeichnung von meiner Freundin Hannah aus Indien gesehen habe. Ich habe mich gefragt, wie ich über die Welt denke. Und warum ich so über die Welt denke, und nicht anders. Ich habe diese Fragen entwickelt und mit internationalen Freiwilligen geteilt. Und heute frage ich euch, ob ihr mir zustimmt, dass diese Zeichnung eine neue Perspektive auf die Welt bietet? Ich freue mich über eure Antworten in den Kommentaren.

Batik: an old-new technique on the Island Juist

I have just returned home after being at the North Sea island of Juist for one week. There, together with three colleagues from my placement, the Evangelische Bildungswerk Dortmund, I accompanied a mother-child-grandmother's leisure time. My colleague Gerda told me before, that I should buy a white t-shirt and take It with me. She told me we would dip the t-shirt during our time in Juist in beautiful colours. I couldn't imagine what we were doing exactly, but I bought a t-shirt.
