I promise that it is untrue if a lot of people claim that Berlin is expensive. Nisha and me, have an experience to share so, allow me to take you to free tourist-friendly locations in Berlin with stunning views using the €49 card.

Beginning at the right-way, firstly going through the Brandenburger Gate, Europäisches House, the Memorial for Jews, the Topography of Terror, Charlie’s Checkpoint, Rausch Schokolade, Gendarmenmarkt, Tränenpalast, Museums Island (Dome), and finally, though it’s not on the route anymore, Alexanderplatz and Hackesche Höfe are all very close. While some are brief stops, others are merely historical sites to pass by. You can also take the bus lines 100 and 200, which resemble waywise sightseeing buses. As previously mentioned, the 100 and 200 are excellent for getting around. Alternatively, you could visit the „ritter sport Bunte Schokolade“ if you’re lover of chocolate. Remember to grab the opportunity to view the East Side Gallery, which is completely free. We’re also going to the Victory Column which has entry tickets which are not quite cheap (€4/person), but it’s really worth it because up there, I can see the beautiful city of Berlin from a distance.

There are also several recommended places that we didn’t go to but it would be a shame to miss them, such as Abguss-Sammlung Antiker Plastik, take a boat trip on the spree in Berlin or even go to Potsdam, another city close by.

For accommodation, just look for the cheapest accommodation with the help of an online application (We used the application “booking.com”). When we went to Berlin, we had booked a room at the hostel “Lette’m Sleep” for € 26.2 / night for each person. The place is close to the center of Berlin (Alexander Platz), so it is very affordable to stay there at a fairly cheap price.
