The best of things, always happen unexpectedly. Just after a lunch date with pastor Christina, she asked us if we would like to visit her office.Pastor Christina is working in the MÖWe, the German word for the animal gull, but also the name of the Office for Mission, Ecumenism and Global Responsibility in the Church of Westfalia. With zero expectations we agreed and left to ‘The Werkstatt Bibel’. A museum, which is also in the same building of the MÖWe, although it belongs to another department within the Church of Westfalia. As we entered we saw a big wall with small lettering all over. A step closer and I was startled to know that the entire Bible was printed on the wall! Yes, you read it right ‘THE ENTIRE BIBLE’. The Old and The New Testament. Our faces were delighted with surprise but that wasn’t all.

The love of my life walks on 4 legs, breathes heavily often, expresses his love by licking my face, loves food and long walks, listens to all my stories patiently by wagging his tail. Yes! I am talking about my Dog ‘SCAR’, who is 2 years, lives at Chennai, India.

Living Worshipers is an African-Gospel band,where i sing. Together with Gentille, who also lives with us in the volunteer house. Most of us are students in Germany and originally from Cameroon.

Hey, I’m Camilla and I’m 19 years old. I moved from Berlin to Dortmund in July, and I will start volunteering as a school companion end of August. I’m a rather quiet person and I like to read, draw and being outside. I’ve been playing soccer for 13 years back in Berlin and will probably look for a new club in Dortmund.

My name is Timea Kiraly. I'm 20 years old and I come from Serbia. I study Hungarian language and literature in Novi Sad, which is a partner city of Dortmund. I am on my third year of studies and looking forward to become a linguist. In my free time, I sing in a christian choir. Beside that a read a lot, I mean really, a lot. Books are my true love. Well, no, not really. My true love is Jesus, and I am part of his mission.

On a normal working day, I was sitting at my desk in front of my computer in the Ecumenical Department of the Evangelical Church of Dortmund. "Hannah?" called my colleague Carolin -I could hear the excitement in her voice- and I ran quickly into her office. "We got an invitation from sevengardens," she said "sevengardens?" I asked? I had never heard of it before.
