I would like to take the opportunity of this little article and say a huge thank you to all of you throughout the Evangelical Church District. Thank you for the wonderful, pleasant and funny two months in which I was able to live in your cozy volunteershouse.

I felt very comfortable in this house and it was good for me that everything was at my disposal. There is complete freedom in this house because I was not only allowed to go in and out everywhere but also to use all the furniture and objects there. The volunteer house was like family to me.

I remember our fun creative evening with nice roommates (Jenny and Carol), neighbors and partners together. Each of us had the opportunity to show his / her hidden talents.

I remember a fun and relaxing sailing time on the Phoenixsee with very nice people. I have gained a lot of experiences with you and from you and have met great people who will stay in my memory forever.

Thanks to your always friendly, public, binding accompaniments and support. Stay as you are, because that’s how you are great !! I am convinced that the Evangelical Church District is very happy to have such great people with good moods and big hearts as employees.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you very much for your support and openness. A special big thank you to Carolin for her existence and her great organizational and management skills. Thank you for always being by my side, accompanying me with advice and action and always being there when I needed you.

Dear team of the Evangelical Church in Dortmund, I will always remember you. With this in mind, I wish you all the best, especially health and that the world survives the pandemic. I look forward to seeing you again in the new year.

Your Abdoulaye
