It’s hard to believe that it has already been six months since I arrived in Germany. Looking back, I’m filled with deep gratitude and amazement at how much I’ve grown in such a short time both personally and professionally.

When I first came here,I had many hopes but also uncertainties. I wasn’t sure how quickly I would adapt or how I would manage in a completely new culture. But as the weeks passed, I began to realize that this journey was shaping me in ways I had never expected.

One of the most beautiful parts of this experience has been the love and kindness I’ve encountered from colleagues, housemates, and the people I interact with in my everyday life. This has played a big part in helping me feel welcomed and supported, which in turn has made it easier to improve my integration skills. Whether it’s learning the German language, understanding cultural differences, or simply feeling comfortable navigating daily life, I’ve made great progress and I’m proud of that.

My work has also been a key part of this journey. It’s not just a job; it’s something I find truly interesting. Every day brings something new, and I’m constantly learning not only about the work itself but also about myself and what I’m capable of. Being outside, especially now that summer is here, has made me appreciate the beauty of nature even more. The sunshine, the greenery, and the warm weather have added so much joy to my routine.

Above all, I’m grateful. Grateful for the chance to experience life from a different perspective. Grateful for the challenges that have pushed me to grow. And grateful for the moments of connection that have reminded me how powerful human kindness can be.

Six months may not seem like a long time, but for me, it has been a season of transformation. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next.
