Hello, greeting to you in the name of Jesus.

I am Phaskal Enda Haganta Barus. I am 22 years old and I come from Indonesia. I live with my parents and my beloved sister. I have studied Business Administration at Chandigarh University in India and graduated in 2022. I am doing some business in my home town which is in Karo Regency, North Sumatera, Indonesia. I am creating some fields to youth for having their development in farm and cattle.

I am a Christian in the Karo Batak Protestant Church and I am a member of the youth department. I like to play music on my Guitar and Piano,  and love to do Sport, especially Badminton and Volleyball, love to read as much as I can – I am hoping that we can be friends and peers, talk and having smile and huge laugh. Also, I love people very much, because I like to share and learn about anything by others and especially God tells us that we have to share our love to other because Gods does.

I thank God that UEM (United Evangelical Mission) or VEM ( Vereinte Evangelische Mission ) is granting me the opportunity to join the volunteer programme in Germany. During the programme, I will learn a lot of things such as inter-culture, inter-nation relations or sharing about different religion that will help me or be a factors to help me to developed. When the programme will be finished, I want to return to Indonesia to bring a lot of  ideas to my church especially in the youth department.

I have already learned the German language now and I have already learned the basics – I have had time to go to lecture in Pematang Siantar  in the last few months and I am still learning day by day. It is a great privilege to be with you and it is kinda can’t wait to see you all in smile and hearthwarm welcoming.
