Hello, I greet you in the name of Jesus. my name is MUHAYIMANA Isaac. I am 25 years old and I live with both of my parents, my two brothers and one sister in Rwanda. I have studied electrical engineering and I graduated in 2017. That’s what I’m doing so far.

I am a Christian in the Anglican Church in Rwanda Diocese of Shyogwe. I like to play football, love reading, especially reading the Bible, to be with my friends and peers and we talk and work together. Actually, I love people very much, because God tells us that when you love your partner you also love God.

I am very grateful , that UEM (United Evangelical Mission) is giving me the opportunity to be a volunteer in Germany. During my time in Germany, I will learn a lot that will help me in life, will make friends and we will make changes. When I finish my year of volunteering, I want to go back to Rwanda to bring new ideas to my Diocese.

I’m learning German now and I’ve learned the basics already –  I’ve had time to go to school for the past few months and I’m still learning day by day. It is a great privilege to be with you and I hope to see you soon in Dortmund.

Thank you.
God bless you.
