from Frida from DR Congo

I was very happy when Carolin asked me if I would attend the meeting of the World Council of Churches in Karlsruhe, and I immediately said yes, so I attended the event. I was not alone, but was accompanied by Barbara Matt from Studio 41. We were the delegates of the Evangelical Church Circuit Dortmund for the Ecumenical World Council of Churches.

This event “World Council of Churches” helped me

* to get to know and see the President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Since I was born, I only knew that Germany has a president, but even on TV I never saw him, but thanks to this program I was able to see and get to know him.

*to meet people from different countries, different churches, professions, circumstances, mother tongues and more.

We were all united because we all came to the same church, to the same country, etc.

There were even two churches from Ukraine that did not get along well, but thanks to the World Ecumenical Assembly, the two reconciled and joined forces to support Ukraine with prayers so that they could overcome the problem that exists against Russia.

Through this I understood that the love of Christ leads the world to reconciliation and unity, and I want to share with you what I have learned.

Let us love one another as God Himself loves us, let us support one another and let us all be one as the love of Christ unites us.

I also visited the Karlsruhe Zoo. There are some animals there that I often see on television, and I was able to see them in Karlsruhe thanks to the World Council of Churches meeting programme.
