Transculturality means that a culture is not homogeneous and closed, it is not identical to a particular country. The concept describes that we have encounters between people, not between cultures. We were asked in which category our house falls and we agreed immediately, our volunteer house is a transcultural house. I have a good example, my roommate Louise from Cameroon has the same taste like me, exactly the same. We have the same denim Shirt, and the same phone. Everything she would buy, I would buy too. When I was in Braunschweig to attend the seminar for political education, we played a game in which all participants presented their favorite songs. We all had same taste in music, although we are young people from different countries in southeastern Europe and from India. We all danced to „All the single ladies“ from Beyoncé. „
