So… where do I even start? 😄

My name is Nafisa, I’m 20 years old and I’m from Mumbai, India. If you’ve never been to Mumbai, imagine a city where there is always traffic, always noise, always someone in a hurry — and somehow, everyone still finds time for a cup of tea. 😂

In the coming months, I’ll be trading a little bit of that chaos for a new adventure in Dortmund, where I’ll be volunteering at OGS Kreuz-Grundschule Dortmund.

I’m excited to work with children, meet people from different parts of the world, learn about German culture and, most importantly, experience what it’s like to build a life somewhere completely new.

I’m also hoping to improve my German along the way — so please be patient with me when I inevitably mix up words. 😅

I love writing, travelling, exploring new places and turning random moments into stories, so I’m hoping this year will give me plenty of those.

For now, I’m still in Mumbai, waiting for the final “See you in Dortmund!” moment.
